Occupational Therapist - Outpatient, Full-time, Days (Kish)

Provides optimal quality of patient care services by means of prescribed occupational therapy programs to restore function; prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of any body part involving particularly the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and respiratory, as well as cognitive systems. Maintains professionalism, ethics, and efficiency under supervision of the Director of Rehabilitative Services.
Education: Must possess a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the American Occupational Therapy Association accredited college or university.
In order to treat pediatric patients, the therapist must either: Have prior experience in treating pediatric patients, or attend outside courses relating to treating the pediatric patient.
Certifications: Current recognition in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers within 30 days of employment
License Required: Must have a current Illinois license in Occupational Therapy


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
